Prayer is an
act of worshiping and praising God. It is a way of presenting our request to
God and it is a way through which we converse with Him. More importantly, it is
the spiritual respiratory system of Christians. Prayer is the spiritual
invisible cable through which God blesses and strengthen us which has the
ability to release what we cannot ordinarily accessed. Prayer is the key for
everybody who is willing to accept God’s words. Nevertheless, people may scorn
our words, toss our appeal, discard our message or oppose our argument but they
cannot stand against our prayers.
“Be
careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” (KJV). Phil. 4:6
Prayer is
timeless because it is capable and effective, such that it can touch the
toughest heart, the powerful and can even go through distance we cannot
stretch. You can subsist without a sermon but not without prayers. Prayer can
do and undo and it can turn things around. Prayer is timely, if you are
complacency about the importance prayer, then it can be belated and the
repercussion that follows such action will be grave and great mercy will be
required if such prayer will be answered. Most suffering and pains we pass through might
be as a result of belated prayers. Objectively, you are born for a reason and a
season; this same principle is applicable to been timely with prayer.
”To everything
there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to
love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace” (KJV). Ecc.3:1,

There are some prayers we pray fervently but
unfortunately they are already late because we are supposed to have said these
prayers yester years. Have you heard these proverbs that, “a stitch in hand
saves more than nine, medicine after death or Pray now so that you will not
pray later”. On time prayer is better than belated prayers. Why this statement?
When prayers are belated, opportunities are lost, destinies are delayed,
systems are changed, heritage and possessions are lost and kings and princes
become slaves.
What are belated prayers?
They are
prayers and sacrifices are offered, actions that are done, behind schedule or
time. Most of the time, when belated
prayers are offered, the season of that person has gone. Belated prayers are those
prayers we pray after our opportunity has by-passed us. Does it then means that God cannot answer every prayer? No. God can
answer every prayer but within a specific time or period. By the time you are
offering belated prayers, things, time and opportunity has changed. One minute
prayer can save your life if you refuse to pray. At that instance, you will
eventually pray and fast and you may not get the actual result. If you pray
belated prayers, you may not get the right result or answer like someone who is
timely with his or her prayers according to His will.
Jesus prayed
on time prayer, so why are you
praying belated prayer? Most of the time when we apply the “fire brigade approach” to issues in our life
that requires fervent prayer, the end product of such is what I call belated
prayers. Parents do not wait for such perilous times; begin to pray for your
children now because once their times pass, there is nothing else you can do. Pray
now so that you don’t pray later with a price.
”Then
cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the
disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. And he took with him Peter
and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then
saith he unto them, my soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye
here, and watch with me. And he went a little further, and fell on his face,
and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me:
nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt”(KJV). Matt 26:36-39
Jesus knew
there was problem coming so He prayed. Why do not you pray now so that when
problem comes, you can be strengthened to overcome it. In the next edition of
the blossom, practical examples from the Bible shall be explored with Jesus
Christ as our center focus. I strongly believe that this message is timely and
it is the right panacea you have been waiting for so that God can arise on your
behalf and disgrace every stubborn enemy that has held you in bondage and you
will be free indeed in Jesus name, remain blessed.
MEDITATE
· The resurrection power of Jesus Christ is the
most powerful event in the Human history.
·
The law of resurrection is superior and it works
better than the law of lift and aerodynamics.
· The resurrection power defies all blockages,
barriers and bondage and it destroys every ordinance. It also guarantees total
victory in every area of life.
· The blood of Jesus is your surest guarantee
against the upsurge of the devil.
· The blood of Jesus was shed thousands of years
ago yet it is potent over all sicknesses, affliction and wickedness of the
devil.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
·
No matter how far your adversaries have gone,
the Lord will nullify their wickedness in your life!
· Whatever went down in your life or wherever you have
stepped down in shame, the power of resurrection will lift you again!
· As death could not hold Jesus captive in the
grave, likewise nothing I mean nothing will hold you down again in life!
·
The rest of your days will be the best of your living
on earth!
·
By the reason of the blood of Jesus, nothing
good will pack up in your system again!
·
I declare sound health upon your bones and
blood!
·
As from now on, nothing will stop you any more
in life!
