WAR AGAINST AFFLICTION (Part 1)

Affliction is like a two-edged sword that affects both the righteous and the unrighteous. In a simple term, it is the wicked finger or the involvement of the enemy in the affairs of men.  More-over, affliction in Hebrews language means ‘aven which could mean trouble or wickedness. I need you to know that God is not glorified when you are afflicted; rather it is one of the many schemes of darkness. Please, do not forget that the Bible says that:

 

"But while he was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed also darnel (weeds resembling wheat) among the wheat, and went on his way” Matt 13:25 (AMP)

Today, many people are groaning under the weight and burden of this dreaded scheme of darkness because somewhere either consciously or unconsciously the enemy penetrated their lives and the resonance effects of such evasion is undoubtedly responsible for the hardship, failure, depression, stagnation and terminal diseases ravaging their destines.

“A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all;” Ps 34:19(NIV)

Though several schools of thought have analyzed the pain, agony and travails associated with affliction and all of these pointed to the fact that affliction is real and deadly if its victim is complacent. In this write-up, I will be sharing with you from the word of God some of the meanings of affliction as well as its causes. Affliction can be pain or bodily torment which someone passes through or an attack by satan against the righteous.

“Look upon my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins” Ps 25:18. (NIV)

There are varied degrees caused by this lethal weapon of darkness. Affliction can make people to be broken (sober) or to backslide while others are made in the process because of their dexterity. Essentially, this wicked device of the enemy that brews from the pit of hell is aimed at destabilizing the children of God. God Himself feels the pain when the righteous are being afflicted.

“In their entire affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and He bares them, and carried them all the days of old“(KJV) Isa 63:9.

You might say I am a believer why should I be afflicted? Yes, you are right but you must always remember that the Bible warns that the whole world is full of the habitation of cruelty. Under listed are some of the reasons why believers are afflicted:

·      *  When believers transgress or trespass the law of God.

·      *  When believers are enticed or fall into sin.

·      *    To test believers the faith in God.

·     *  To prepare the righteous for a greater and higher level of responsibility.

·     * To make the weak and lazy pray.

·     *  To serve God early.

·     *  When the assignment of a man is a threat to the kingdom of darkness.

·     * When an individual is ignorant of his position in God.

·     *  When spiritual issues are taken for granted.

·     *  When a believer crosses his region and intrudes into the camp of the wicked.

Beloved in the next episode of this write-up, I, by the grace of God will take you through the reasons why affliction comes the second time and how to be free from its grip.

DELIVERANCE FROM THE CAGE OF CIRCULAR SPIRIT - PART 2

In continuation of this message, the mystery behind circular movement shall be fully explored in this publication. I want to reiterate that the mission of this wicked spirit is to short- change the original plan of God for your life making your path crooked and hazy.  Permit me to ask you, when will you go straight in life and destiny? I will continue from where I stopped last week about the unique and prophetic destiny of Joshua who by the help of God knew the peculiarity and originality of his ministry through his feet.

“When they brought them out, Joshua told the commanders of his army, "Come and put your feet on the kings' necks." And they did as they were told.” Josh 10:24 (NLT)

This event consolidated the Jericho and Jordan experience which was monumental to his campaign before possessing the promise land. The mission of this circular spirit is to impound your unique assignment and that can totally incapacitate your destiny. Guessing with destiny (uncertainty, indecisive and vacillating) is another salient weapon used by the devil to popularize his satanic revival of oppression and bondage. Shout this loud and clear, I refuse to guess in life, I will go straight with my assignment in life in Jesus name. This circular spirit can cloud your eye from seeing into areas, projects, and ventures that change your status for the best. Any demonic stumbling roadblock on your path in life against success, the angel of the Lord will clear it away in Jesus name.

 A man came to our counseling meeting sometimes ago and God revealed that he ought to read Medicine in school not Political Science. After disclosing this truth to him, he left angrily but that same night he dreamt seeing himself wearing white medical apron and people are commending him for his expertise on the job. When he woke up, he understood the dream, he went back to school to study medicine and today, he is a successful medical doctor. Also, a man saw that the ‘puf-puf’ business of his wife was thriving generating huge income. On that basis, he resigns from his lucrative business to join his wife. No sooner than three weeks that he joined that the business that it collapsed with nothing for them to fall back on.

 THE SIGNS

Beloved, you are sent here on earth with a specific assignment and until you discover it, you cannot escape from the whims and caprices of this circular spirit. The following high points are some of the indices if a man is besieged by this demon called circular spirit:

-It can make a man goalless with his objectives; let me ask you, what is your goal and pursuit in life?

-It is the power behind trial and error syndrome reoccurring in your life.

-It is the initiator of what I called the vagabond anointing- aimlessness, lack of coordinate or concerted effort life.

-It can make living unpalatable and such a man will be reviled by all and sundry.

-It is responsible for constant failure and hardship; you can only get your allocation in the place of your location.

-It is the brain behind wandering and haughty spirit ravaging the destiny of many people.

-It is a copy-cat (photocopy) demon.

- It is the power that has made many to be interview celebrity.

-Covetousness becomes a lifestyle because waiting on God is out of view of such a man.

-It is the power of been afraid of the future.

If you are under the influence of this spirit, the Lord can set you free because

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the [consistently] righteous man [upright and in right standing with God] runs into it and is safe, high [above evil] and strong.” Pro 18:10 (AMP)

Get acquainted with the Lord and be prepared to engage this wicked spirit in battle through war fare prayers. Besides, you must be ready to pay the price for greatness because at the back of every star lies scares of what they went through to be a celebrity. As you take this bold step of faith, you will come out every cage confiscating your divine original in Jesus name. Stay blessed.

•  Your success is a product of your character!

• Until you critically examine yourself, you cannot pass the examination of destiny successfully!  

•   Every outstanding result is built on outstanding principles!

• There is no substitution for the help of God in the race of life!

•  If you do not have a focus in life, every little challenge becomes a mountain!

• The faith that expects God to do everything without you doing anything is an irresponsible faith!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

•  Anyone with evil intention that crosses your path shall fall down before you!
• You are moving from a life of constant harassment into a life of dignity and honour!
• When others are closing down, you will be rising higher! 
•  The arrows of the wicked will not locate you!
• May the reward of heaven locate you this month! 
• Henceforth, you will rule in the mist of your enemies!

DELIVERANCE FROM THE CAGE OF CIRCULAR SPIRIT

There comes a time in life when you must revoke against the norm or status-quo that you have considered as a family pattern that is contrary to the blue print of your Creator. In Mathematics, a straight line is the shortest distance between two points but if the same distance is measured in a circular dimension, the distance becomes longer.

“For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying:"The voice of one crying in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight.” Matt 3:3 (NKJV)

The scripture above talks about the destiny of John the Baptist, how God designed his destiny from eternity to make an indelible impact in the history of humanity. As wonderful as the eternal counsel of God is, the devil, the arch enemy of man is always at the verge of sabotaging what the Bible describes as God's master piece in Gen 1:31. He injects all manner of evil manifestos into the life of people through his demonic mercenaries. One of such device or scheme is what I called the cage of circular spirit. This satanic spirit can prolong your day of glory and turn a journey of forty days to forty years just as in the case of the Israelite. Nevertheless, this spirit will ensure that your destiny does not assume its rightful place in the plan of God. Beloved, I want you to know this today that you do not resemble God with that bondage and affliction because the way of the Lord is straight; therefore I curse every power behind your going around in circle in Jesus name.   

  

“Then God said, "You've been going around in circles in these hills long enough; go north.” Deut 2:2-3(THE MESSAGE)

Hitherto, the Israelites have wandered in the wilderness for many years and the truth is not farfetched from this revelation as they were held bound by this wicked satanic spirit but by divine providence, they were delivered and they got their inheritance.

“‘And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.” Eze 1:12 (NKJV)

Whoa! That is amazing but this circular spirit is a wicked task master who will not easily let go, holding fast his captives. This spirit is responsible for diversion of destiny and once this is achieved difficulty, error, mistake, servant hood, disappointment and slavery  will become a normal occurrence. If you are already its lawful captive, I declared your freedom from the grip of that wicked circular spirit that has held you bound in Jesus name.  Alas! God has destined you to be great but this circular spirit can turn your hero to zero and divine ability to affliction. Many Christian today are confused despite the victory of the Lord Jesus on the cross of Calvary because somewhere along the line, their destiny(s) were arrested and detained by the demonic stronghold of circular spirit. 

Are you going in circle or are you going according to how your creator has fashioned your life? One of the potent schemes deployed by this circular spirit is what has now become a standard of the human civilization; it is called the spirit of copy-cat. This virus has been regarded as a normal occurrence but in absoluteness, it is a satanic ensemble from the wicked coven of darkness charged to arrest people’s original identity. This is the crux behind the affliction of people and believers are not left out of this saga. No matter how this may sound to you, this circular spirit has the power to short-change your divine original for futility and this will result to waste of God’s investment in your life. Let me expound an insight from the story of Moses when God told gave him the blue print of his calling.

 “And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.” Exo 4:17 (NKJV)

 True to it, Moses did unusual signs and wonders with his rod but when Joshua took over the mantle of leadership from him, he did not follow that terrain. 

"I am giving you every square inch of the land you set your foot on — just as I promised Moses." Josh 1:3 (THE MESSAGE)

This is the peculiarity of Joshua’s ministry. He was anointed to complement what God started through Moses. God was committed to His word in his life and everywhere he stepped, victory was assured. Check all the accounts of his conquest (Jos 6:20-21, 4:9-10), Joshua could have been a misfit if he had mimic the acts of God in the life of Moses by emphasizing on the ministry of the rod. Sadly enough, this demonic current is sweeping through all facets of the human endeavour making its captive spiritual vagabonds. The mission of this wicked spirit is to usurp your originality, depleting your glorious destiny to a state of opaqueness. Therefore, there is a battle to fight and win if truly you must be congratulated in life. In the concluding part of this message, I shall be unfolding the signs to watch out for as well as the way out of the grip of this circular spirit. Before then, pray these prayers like a champion:

-Every anointing of going in circle in my life, expire now by fire!

-My divine original buried in any coven of darkness, appear now by fire!

-Circular spirit from my background prolonging my breakthrough, receive thunder and die!

-My Father, my Father, I refuse to go in circle; I will go straight in life!

MEDITATE

• Do not ever agree with anyone that believes, declares or insinuates that you cannot make it.
• In the school of life; persistence is a force and until you persist, you will never prevail, succeed or become a champion.
• If you can persist in doing the right thing, it will soon produce for you.
• If you are going to employ the weapon of persistence and godly desperation, then stop listening to the wrong people.
• Necessity may be the mother of invention but desperation is the mother of innovation.
• Whenever men get desperate, they get motivated to move from where they are to their next level.
   

      

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

• Your destiny will not be wiped out! 
• All that have been shot at you will drop off you! 
• I curse whatever is blocking your access to your promise land! 
• You shall no longer suffer aches and pains! 
• This is going to be a week with a difference for you! 
• God will declare you to your generation this month!

SPIRIT OF TERAH, LOOSE YOUR HOLD! PART 2

The previous publication on this series brought to limelight the circumstances as well as the efficacy of the agony associated with the spirit of Terah (The spirit of collective captivity). Terah lived and died without any lasting legacy and this was the pattern or standard Abraham had conditioned his mindset until God spoke:

"Leave your country, your relatives, and your father's home, and go to a land that I am going to show you. I will give you many descendants, and they will become a great nation. I will bless you and make your name famous, so that you will be a blessing.” Gen 12:1-2 (GNT)

God stepped into eternity so as to rescue Abraham from the impending danger of barrenness. There is a satanic spirit or devil behind your affliction; until you deal with the spirit of Terah (delay), it can affect your children even the ones in your loins. Winning the battle against this spirit is not a child’s play. Little wonder that you are always discouraged and perturbed each time you are determined to engage the enemy in warfare prayer. This is a spiritual battle.

“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world; against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”  Eph 6:12 (NLT)

There is a demonic entity ( spirit of Terah) making demand and profiting from your delay, pain, hurt, agony and suffering and been indifferent about it might either prolong your days of glory or defer the fulfillment of prophesy about your great future. Whatever you have suffered as defeat, shame and confusion, the God of Mordecai will arise and fight for you in Jesus name. If you are not pursuing something, something is pursuing you whether you are conscious of it or not. If you cannot pray, you are already a prey and if you have been swallowed, today by the power of the Living God, you will be vomited in Jesus name  

This same affliction (the spirit of Terah) threatens the validity of God’s covenant in the life of Isaac and Jacob but they cried unto God and they were delivered. This battle is not only about you but the generations yet unborn, so what are you doing about it? Every wrong DNA of your parents in your blood that is detrimental to your health and prosperity, I command it to die in Jesus name. The Ancient of days will go into your family history and disgrace the strongman strengthening your captivity and you will possess your possession in Jesus name. Check your family history and compared it with your present life, is there any correlation, if yes, then be prepare to pray. Isaiah was a candidate of this same affliction until King Uzziah died.

“It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple.” Isa 6:1 (NLT)

All of a sudden, you noticed that the same sickness, abject poverty, retrogression, delay and sudden death that runs through your family lineage has caught up with your father and if urgent measures are not taken, the same fate might be your conclusion but there is a way of escape in God

.

"Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”  Matt 7:7(NLT)

“Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matt 18:18 (KJV)

These two scriptures give a practical approach to ending this satanic saga. As a child of God, you have been endowed with power to disarm the controlling forces behind your problem.Why not pass through the pain now so that you and next generations can be free from this demonic chaos. If you do not deal with this spirit, then the promises and counsel of God for your life might remain a mirage. The only way of escape from this satanic assault is through war-fare prayers.

 Pray like this:

 -I bind every spirit of Terah married to my destiny!

-Every appearance of delay in my life, career, family and business die, die!

-Every satanic connection between me and any spirit of delay, I cut it off!

-I lose myself from any form of delay known with my family and I enter into my realm of abundance!

-My Father, my Father, anoint me to start something new in my family!       

                                                                        In Jesus name

MEDITATE

-If you do not take spiritual responsibility, you remain a spiritual liability.

-There is no superman anywhere except a man with a super God with him.

-The anointing upon a man is a preserver of life.

-Neglecting to confront opposition in the name of Jesus is a cheap way to die.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS

-Your heaven shall be opened perpetually and you will no longer be identified with problems forever!

-This is month will mark the beginning of adventure into your undeniable greatness!

- The Lord will silence your enemies and increase your faith!

-God will go into places where you cannot enter, where they do not know you and raise a voice for you!

-Anything or person in your life or house that is not profitable for your progress is hereby pushed out!

-I curse whatever is blocking your access to your promise land!

SPIRIT OF TERAH, LOOSE YOUR HOLD!

In the genealogy of Abraham, there was no record of delay in childbirth until the days of his father called Terah. Terah never gave birth until he was seventy years old unlike the average which was thirty-two in his family. This event marked the genesis of barrenness in the lineage of Abraham and it was also pronounced in the days of Isaac and Jacob. 

“When Terah was seventy years old, he had Abram, Nahor, and Haran.” Gen 11:26 (THE MESSAGE)

“Sarai was barren; she had no children.” Gen 11:30 (THE MESSAGE)

“Isaac prayed hard to God for his wife because she was barren. God answered his prayer and Rebekah became pregnant.” Gen 25:21 (THE MESSAGE)

“When Rachel realized that she wasn't having any children for Jacob, she became jealous of her sister. She told Jacob, "Give me sons or I'll die!" Gen 30:1 (THE MESSAGE)

A closer examination of these accounts from the Bible shows that there is a ravaging parasite hidden in their blood line. Further research about the Hebrews meaning of Terah brings into reality the hidden truth about this satanic phenomenon. Terah in Hebrews language means delay and delay in the contemporary English dictionary connotes stagnation. When he was born, he was named delay and this was passed on to Abraham and the unborn generations. Therefore the spirit of Terah is the spirit of collective captivity (delay, stagnation and merry-go round or better still being held to a spot). Let me be specific at this point, any issue( problem) in your life now started in the days of your fathers but nothing was done to address the situation, so I prophesy that any problem  affecting you by virtue of the mistake of your parents dies now in Jesus name. Everything was fine in the linage of Abraham until Terah showed up in the scene of event. 

Alas! Somebody started that crises, hardship, poverty, terminal disease which was unknown to you but you can stop it. Have you checked through your lineage and you discovered that people do not prosper, ladies do not go to school or they delayed martially, you do not know your biological father or you are always struggling through life from year to year, then there is a mystery which is hidden from you. Beloved until you locate and lock the source of this affliction through the help of the Holy Spirit, you might continue to grove in darkness. Shout this loud, blood of Jesus, go into the foundation of my family and deliver me from the bondage of collective captivity in Jesus name. Peradventure, there might be an initiator of sudden death, barrenness, polygamy or untold hardship in your family and you must cry untold God for a total deliverance. There is an invisible entity in charge of the remote control of your destiny tossing it at will to afflict your life. I do not know what you have suffered in the past but by the power of God through this publication, you shall be free from that shame and disgrace in Jesus name.

*Right now, I decree an end to everything that is making you to shed secret tears!
