WAR AGAINST AFFLICTION, PART 2

The horror and evil unleashed by the devil and his cohorts’ is gaining momentum on an unprecedented dimension and the efficacy of these assaults are usually devastating. These schemes of darkness without any a-do have left indelible marks of frustration, shame, mourning and losses in the life of many. Nevertheless, the unswerving effect of this evil does not exclude Christians likewise.

“Remember your covenant promises, for the land is full of darkness and violence”! Ps 74:20 (NLT)

The last edition of this blog gave a foresight on the various definitions on the meaning of the word affliction and why believers are also afflicted. Some other definition of the subject matter under discuss are:

-         * Afflictions are trials and tribulations that come to a believer because of his faith in Jesus, Job 2:7

-         * Affliction is the spiritual war or battle orchestrated by the forces of wickedness force to stop people (believers) from serving God.

-          *It is a spiritual attack against those who are on a particular assignment for their generation.

-          *It’s a demonic battle waged against believer to tamper with their testimonies and give them shame.

“A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.” Ps 34:19 (NJKV)

God, your Father and Maker recognizes what you are going through and He is assuring you of safety and of total freedom if only you are set and ready through prayers to oppose your opposers. Though the devil will not stop his wicked activities but the Lord has assured that victory over his evil ploys is inevitable. No matter the level or nature of his wickedness in your life, marriage, education or endeavors, you will emerge a conqueror in Jesus name.

“For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken!” Ps 34:20.

Alas!, I want you to pay a rapt attention to this truth, there is an hidden course the devil uses to afflict  people due to their ignorance, it is called inherited affliction. This satanic device is an ancestral bondage or captivity employ by the devil to incessantly held his victims captive but today, knowledge is springing forth and any area the enemy is hiding in your life and destiny to afflicted you, such shall be exposed and you will be free in Jesus name. Unfortunately, so many people are asking “but the Bible says affliction will not rise up the second time, why are they being afflicted the second or even the third time?” 

What do ye imagine against the Lord? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time” Nahum 1:9.   

The following are some of the reasons why believers are afflicted regardless their faith and knowledge about the truth in the word of God. Affliction arises

*In other to let the believer know that he has not prayed enough so as
  to know and wage war against the source of the affliction.

*If the believer attacks the problem neglecting to deal and destroy
  the power (force) behind the problem.

*When believers go back to sin.

*If the affliction has been programmed into natural time keepers
  (the sun, moon, month, earth etc.) of the world.

*If such a believer seeks for solution from beggarly powers
  (visiting shrine and ungodly places)

*If a stronghold has been built in the life of such person.

     

      WHAT TO DO

*Crucify yourself from sin.

*Equip or guard yourself with Goliath killing scriptures.

*Sing and praise God always.

*Investigate or make deliberate inquiries into the origin of the problem.

*Develop a strong faith that can disgrace the power strengthen your affliction.

*Attack the power source of the affliction.

*Raise an altar to fight your battle.

 PROPHETIC PRAYER

·         *Every power of stagnation in your life, I kill it!

·         *Every Power of frustration and backwardness dies in your life now!

·         *I revoke the potency of any negative word spoken against you and your children!

·         *Every power swallowing your greatness is hereby disgraced by the blood of Jesus!

·         *Your riches and breakthrough in the depth of the waters is locating you now!

·         *Every power of limitation reigning in your life is hereby broken!

MEDITATE

·         *It is what you carry that determines your battle.

·         *Warfare always surrounds miracles.

·         *If you have never had warfare, that is because you are not carrying anything.

·         *Whoever knows the secret of your heart will be in control of your future.

·         *Anything you compromise to get, you will eventually lose it somehow.

·         *Goats do not have a shepherd, only sheep do.
